Yancheng Laier Conducts Fire Drill for Enhanced Safety Measures
To enhance employees' awareness of fire safety and improve the company's ability to respond to fire accidents in an emergency, on November 15th at noon, Yancheng Laier Heating Technology Co., Ltd. organized all employees to conduct a practical fire drill activity, aiming to firmly establish the safety production defense line with a "training for battle" attitude.
As a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research and manufacturing of industrial electric heaters, Laier Heating covers electrical equipment and high-temperature components in key fire prevention areas. This drill was set up with the scenario of "a simulated electrical short circuit in the workshop causing a fire", and it was divided into three sections: evacuation and escape, fire extinguishing practical operation, and training in skills, covering all employees of the company.
After the drill began, the alarm sounded immediately. Under the guidance of the safety officer, the employees in each workshop followed the standard movements of covering their mouths and noses with wet towels and bending over in a low posture, evacuating orderly along the pre-designated evacuation routes to the outdoor safe area. The entire process took only 2 minutes and 15 seconds, with no "staying behind" or "panic" situations. Subsequently, the enterprise's volunteer fire brigade quickly arrived at the "fire scene" carrying fire extinguishers, fire hoses and other equipment. According to the operation standard of "one lift, two pull, three hold, four press", they successfully extinguished the simulated fire source. At the scene, a "assistance for the injured" section was also set up to further test the collaborative ability of the emergency rescue team.
After the drill, the safety management director, based on the actual situation of the enterprise, explained the key points for preventing industrial electrical fires and organized the employees to conduct practical operations on the use of fire extinguishers and fire hoses. This ensured that every employee mastered the "initial fire suppression" skills. The general manager of Laier Heating, said: "This drill not only tested the feasibility of the company's emergency plan, but also enabled the employees to truly transform 'safety awareness' into 'emergency capabilities'. In the future, we will incorporate fire drills into regular training to safeguard the safe production of the enterprise and the life safety of the employees."
The successful conduct of this fire drill not only enhanced the fire safety awareness of all employees at Laier Heating, but also laid a solid safety foundation for the stable operation of the company as a technology-based enterprise.
